Who is responsible for your information

Chérie Vitalité is the data controller for the personal information used to provide its menopause education sessions. Questions about this notice or requests about your information can be sent through the contact page or by email to cheriexvitalite@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the service: your name, email address, booking and payment status, the session selected, essential communications and any accessibility requirements you choose to provide. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider and are not held by Chérie Vitalité.

Please do not send symptoms, medication lists, diagnoses or medical history through the booking form, email or group chat. If you voluntarily disclose health information, it may be special-category personal data and will be handled confidentially and deleted when it is no longer needed.

Why we use it

  • To administer your booking, payment, joining instructions and session materials.
  • To answer enquiries and provide reasonable accessibility adjustments.
  • To meet legal, accounting, safeguarding and complaints-handling obligations.
  • To send news or new-session alerts only when you have asked to receive them.

We generally use information because it is necessary to provide the service you requested, to comply with the law, or for legitimate business purposes such as responding to enquiries and maintaining secure records. Consent is used for optional marketing and can be withdrawn at any time.

Who receives it

Information is shared only where necessary with the providers used for booking, payment, email, website hosting and secure video meetings. Tide provides the online checkout and works with Adyen to process card and digital-wallet payments. Other providers in use will be identified during booking and must process data under their own privacy terms and our contractual instructions where applicable. We do not sell personal information.

Group sessions and recordings

Sessions are not recorded by Chérie Vitalité. Attendees must not record, photograph or take screenshots, or share another attendee’s identity or comments. Because other people attend, Chérie Vitalité cannot guarantee their actions. Keep questions general and avoid identifiable medical details.

How long information is kept

Routine booking and correspondence records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service, resolve queries and meet tax or legal requirements. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe. Unnecessary health information is deleted as soon as it is identified and any immediate safeguarding need has been addressed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your information. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
